Every crop grows through four stages.
Moonroot Garden is a peaceful portrait farming game about turning an overgrown woodland clearing into a thriving garden. Prepare the soil, plant your crops, water them, and harvest what grows. Sell your produce, fill town orders, forage the woods, and craft the recipes that bring three forgotten clearings back to life.
There is no rush to become the biggest farmer. Progress is steady, the goals are clear, and a short session is just as rewarding as a long one.
How a harvest works
- Prepare. Pick your tool and tap a plot to turn bare ground into fertile soil.
- Plant. Buy seeds at the Market, then plant one plot at a time or drag across several at once.
- Water. Come back and tend your crops as they move through their growth stages.
- Fertilize. Spend a compost bag for an extra boost. Each use costs exactly one, so choose your favorites.
- Harvest. Collect mature produce to sell, save for town orders, or keep for crafting.
- Sell and reinvest. Turn your harvest into coins for new seeds, compost, more land, and new corners of the woods.

Open the Craft menu and combine crops with forest finds. Sell a harvest now, or save it for a bigger recipe.
Fill town orders
The nearby town always needs something fresh. Orders reward variety and help you decide what to plant next.
Restore three clearings
Bring each forgotten clearing back to life with coins, ingredients, and finished recipes. Level up as you go and unlock more land.
Twenty-five crops to grow
Discover 25 crops, including the mysterious Mooncap. Some ripen quickly, some pay well at the Market, and some are worth saving for orders and recipes. Mix your fields to match the way you like to play.
